Regenburg is blessed with many lovely hotels at a variety of prices. We have special conference offers from some of them here, if you book through the Tourismus office of Stadt Regensburg. Book early to secure a good deal. The link to do so is found below in German and English. Those further out of the city centre are cheaper, but will require an easy bus trip in. Those within walking distance of the venue will be more expensive.

Regensburg is a lovely small medieval city and we do encourage delegates and members to arrive early and enjoy a weekend, both in the city and its environs.
The National Park Bayerischer Wald and several Nature Parks are within easy reach.

Regensburg is easy to get to, you can arrive:
by train
You can travel to Regensburg by train – it’s quick and it’s convenient. Several options are on offer including the high speed ICE. Regensburg lies on the international route linking Amsterdam – Brussels – Vienna – Budapest – Prague.
There are connections from Regensburg to Berlin/Dresden, Hamburg/Hanover, Dortmund/Cologne, Frankfurt a. Main, Karlsruhe/Stuttgart and Munich.
Regensburg Tourismus GmbH has partnered up with EVVC and Deutsche Bahn to create an exclusive deal that allows you to travel conveniently to and from the EUROPARC Conference 2015 in Regensburg. Travel by train from anywhere in Germany for just EUR 99.

by plane
Many airlines including low cost airlines come into all of these airports. You would then connect to Regensburg by car or train.
Distance from international airports
Frankfurt Main (FRA): 335 km, about 2,5-3 hours by train
Nürnberg (NUE): 110 km, about 1,5 hours by train
Munich (MUC): 85 km, about 1,5 hours by train
From the airports Nuremberg and Munich you can also book an airport shuttle “Airportliner” to Regensburg. Please book ahead and contact the company directly for booking.
Exemplary prices between Munich airport and Regensburg: Single-Ticket: 42 €; Partner Tickets: 29 € per person (valid only for one nominated drop-off address). Other fares for larger groups available on request.
by car
Many EUROPARC members can connect easily to Regensburg by car. Why not check with others in your region or country to offer a car share option to the venue?
Please note however that parking inside the Altstadt is very limited, although some parking garages are available where you can leave your car for a reasonable price during the conference.

The nearest parking to the conference are Donaumarkt (not free) or Large car park Unterer Wöhrd (free), a short scenic walk along the Danube to the venue.
