Our Council

The EUROPARC Council is elected every three years by the EUROPARC Federation's General Assembly composed of our membership. The current EUROPARC Council was elected this year at the annual EUROPARC Conference in Brasov, Romania, on 25th September.

The President of the Federation remains Erika Stanciu.

The nine council members are currently:

Rolands Auzins (LV)

Paulo Castro (E), coopted by the council until the next elections to replace Juan del Nido who resigned in 2010 due to other obligations

Eberhard Henne (D)

Gabor Szilagyi (H)

Valter Zago (I)

Marian Woltgen-Jäger (NL) - coopted as the sixth council member by the council

Martin Lane (UK) - coopted by the EUROPARC Sections and representative for the sections

Dominque Leveque - elected to fill the final place by the general assembly in Sweden 2009.

Pio Forte (IT) - was coopted for the position as treasurer

David Cameron (Scotland, UK) - was reelected for the post of auditor for the next year.
