The Directorate

Federation staff

The multi-national team based at the EUROPARC Headquarters and our office in Brussles (address below), comprises a small core staff. Together they coordinate the varied activities of the EUROPARC Federation across Europe.

Individual members of staff can be contact using the following emails:

Director: Carol Ritchie (Scotland, UK).

As her title suggest Carol is responsible for the smooth running of the Federation Directorate and its work. She speaks English and French.

Deputy Director: Richard Blackman (UK).

Richard is based in our Brussels office. He can speak English, German and French. He is responsible, amoung other things for lobbying, the Wild Europe Initiative, transboundary issues and the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism.

Communiations Officer: Morwenna Parkyn (UK).

Morwenna is mainly responsible for all EUROPARC's publications, EUROPARC website and press matters. She can speak English, German and Spanish.

Project Manager: Diana Gallrapp (DE).

Diana mainly manages the PAME project, the Alfred Toepfer Scholarships and Award and the NatuRegio programme. She can speak German, Spanish, English.

Policy Officer: Federico Minozzi (IT).

Federico is also based in Brussels. He mainly responsible for our Slow Food cooperation, the Junior Ranger Programme, the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism and also involved in lobbying. He speaks Italian, French and English.

Executive Administrator and Project Officer: Cornelia Ehlers (DE).

Cornelia joined the team in 2009. She is responsible for all membership issues, administration, council matters and for ensuring that the Federation as a whole and its work runs smoothly. She speaks German and English.

Intern: Leni Aster

Leni is with us for a year as part of the German scheme "Voluntary Ecological Year" or FÖJ. She will be supporting the team with tasks across the board.
