The
EUROPARC Conference
|
|
The annual
EUROPARC Conference and General Assembly takes place in a
different European country each year, and brings together
circa 400 professionals from protected areas, ministries
responsible for protected areas and major European
conservation organisations.
The conference is allocated a different theme each year: a subject of current importance for European protected
area. In plenary sessions and thematic workshops,
participants are able to explore the topics issues and develop
common solutions and recommendations for future work.
The
General Assembly is
where EUROPARC members are given the chance to
review the Federation's activities and to set priorities
for the coming year. This year the council elections will take place
during the Assembly.
