EUROPARC Communication Seminar - Deadlines for applications extended to Wednesday 22nd June

The second EUROPARC seminar at the Siggen Estate, kindly offered to us by the Alfred Toepfer Foundation (DE), will take place from 13th – 16th July 2011. Entitled ‘A new Nature Message’, the two day seminar is based on the branding biodiversity document and approach created by the communication company Futerra.

One of the key consensuses from our annual conference last year was that the field of nature protection is still not satisfied with the way it communicates its messages to different target groups. During this seminar participants will learn a more effective way of doing this: The ‘Love not loss’ approach aims to revolutionise the way we communicate our message and inspires a necessary change in our communication.

The target group for this seminar is communications officers in the field of nature conservation. First places will always go to EUROPARC members. It will be a great opportunity for those working in communications to learn how to apply a new innovative approach to their communications, making them more effective.

Places at the seminar are free of charge as is the board and lodging at the Siggen Estate from the Wednesday to the Saturday. Participants will only need to pay for their transport costs

The deadline for registration is Wednesday 22nd June. More information on the communication seminar.
