Our Sections

At present the EUROPARC Federation has seven active national and regional Sections. Atlantic Isles, Nordic-Baltic, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, and the Czech Republic,

Each of the Sections has its own coordinator, office and work programme reflecting the Federation's aims and purposes in their part of Europe. Working in concert with the Federation headquarters, the Sections play a major role in helping to deliver the Federation's work programme and meeting the expectations of its pan-European membership. Members arising from areas which has formed a Federation section are encourged to join and participate in their work.

EUROPARC Atlantic Isles

Encompassing , Iceland, Ireland and the countries of the United Kingdom, the section currently has 66 members, with a Board of 10 Trustees and employs one staff member, a part-time Development Officer. Please head to www.europarc-ai.org for more information.

EUROPARC Czech Republic

The Czech Repblic brings together the procted areas of that country to exchange ideas and views. Visit www.europarc.cz for their details.

EUROPARC Germany

EUROPARC Italy

Out Italian members have recently restructured their organisation and are now represented by Federparchi. www.europarc.it contains more information about the Section.

EUROPARC Nordic-Baltic

Nordic and Baltic countries have combined protected areas expertise arising from Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Iceland into this one regional section. Click on www.europarc-nb.org for more information.

EUROPARC Spain

Bringing the experience of all levels of governmental protected area management together has been the role of EUROPARC Spain. Their extensive website www.europarc-es.org is packed with information.

EUROPARC France

France has a comprehensive protected areas management system. EUROPARC is represented in France by the Federation des Parcs Naturels Regionaux de France, although we have close links with National Parks in France also.
