Discover the fascinating old lead mining village of Sheldon, and one of the best preserved lead mining sites in the Peak District, Magpie Mine. Then down into beautiful Deep Dale Nature Reserve with its spectacular limestone scenery and a wealth of wild flowers before returning through ancient woodlands to Sheldon. With excellent opportunities for photography and a fine village put at the end of the walk.

Event Terrain: Reasonable paths with one steep 110 metre ascent, 5 miles

Extra Items: Walking boots essential

Cost: £6 per person aged 18 and above. Children aged 17 and below go free on any suitable event.
