Green Heart beats for us
International Day of Biological Diversity & Day of Nature Protection in Croatia – May 22nd and European Day of Parks May 24th.
Elementary School from Starigrad Paklenica in collaboration with Public Institution Paklenica National Park, local Municipality and Tourist Board Starigrad-Paklenica, as a part of Biosphere Reserve MAB Velebit mountain is organizing the manifestation “Green Heart beats for us”, the 4th year of contest in arts open for the elementary schools all around Croatia. This year’s theme is “The Secrets of Croatian Natural Treasures”.
The project, under the auspices of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Energy, includes primary schools of the Republic of Croatia.
Over 500 drawings and writings works were submitted to this competition, all thematically related to the natural heritage and nature protection with protected Croatian animal and plant species.
