Diuscovering of Emajõe Suursoo marsh on bogshoes
Emajõgi Suursoo was 100 years ago a densely populated area. The farms of the marsh islands were full of life, the cattle were grazed in marsh meadows, the swamps are crossed by footpaths, and the forest rafting canals and winter roads were cut it.
How the marsh and abaandoned islands live after the people leave, let’s discover by the bogshoes 24.05. – on the day of protected areas. Let’s take a circular route over the marsh islands with couple stops for observing and eat.
