Karu teemaline matk Sirsti kaitsealal
We invite you to celebrate the European Day of Parks 2021 with a bear-themed tour to the forests around the Sirtsi bog. Sirsti nature reserve is located on the western border of Alutaguse area, and here is situated the core of our Brown Bear population. Together with an experienced nature guide, we’ll visit some of the locations where bears overwintered – the so-called bear nests, look for scratch marks on trees, and other tracks and traces of bears and other wild animals. May is also a great time to hear birds and learn new bird songs. After the tour it’s possible to stay overnight in the Brown Bear hide and spot the king of the forest itself.
Participation in the trip is free for everyone who stays in the Brown Bear hide on the 21st or 22nd of May.
