Festa dos Maios is an annual event that takes place at Quinta do Pisão, in the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, and celebrates spring and the hillbilly traditions of Cascais. The program for this event, organized by Ambiente Cascais, includes walks, workshops and ateliers, as well as a hillbilly market, restaurants and lots of entertainment. Always keeping the connection to nature, to the rural environment and to the hillbilly traditions. This event is open to the entire population and has no entrance fee, nor does it cost anything to participate in the activities.
