Respiro - art in the forest
Respiro – Arte nell’aria del Bosco, is an art-in-nature project.
Interpreting the natural world through artistic expression facilitates the senses and inspires more sustainable models such as slow living, reconnection with natural elements, spontaneous communication, community relations, as well as reflections on environmental responsibility.
Respiro takes place in a rural area and within the protected nature reserve, “Monti Livornesi”. The idea of promoting this cultural project each year stems from the desire to encourage the active participation of the surrounding rural communities and beyond into public and private life. It also serves to enhance and make our areas more attractive, thus counteracting the sense of ‘abandonment’ felt by the residents of these areas.
