European Day of Parks in Călimani
On May 23, 2025, the Călimani National Park Administration will celebrate the European Day of Parks. The event will take place at the Visitors’ Center in Șaru Dornei, Suceava County, and will actively involve students from the nearby village of Dorna Arini. These young participants will plant spruce saplings, contributing to forest regeneration and raising awareness about the importance of environmental conservation. This activity is part of a series of initiatives aimed at connecting youth with nature and instilling respect for protected natural areas.
