Connected by Nature in Koupa
The C. Cooperative for the Management of the Indivisible Forest of Koupa, a member of EUROPARC Federation, in association with the Cultural and Environmental Association of Koupa invites you to join the celebration of the EUROPEAN DAY OF PARKS 2026, in Koupa, on Sunday, May the 24th.
Schedule includes:
09:30 — Gathering at the Village’s “Tsiesma Mari” (Big Fountain)
09:30 – 12:30 — Trail hike to “Krimila” 41°3’49.44″N 22°21’4.55″E and “Rindou Di Lints” 41°3’40.49″N 22°20’47.73″E, including volunteering work (pruning etc) for its maintenance and promotion, plus short stops to refer to its features and history
12:30 – 14:00 — Open reception – Buffet at the Cultural Center’s courtyard
Participants are responsible for their own transportation and safety. Those wishing to assist with trail maintenance are advised to bring lightweight tools (pruning shears and gloves), while all participants are advised to wear appropriate clothing, sturdy hiking shoes, a hat, and water – Scarves bearing the event’s logo will be provided on-site by the organizers.
