GIORNATA EUROPEA DEI PARCHI - Visita guidata gratuita alla Riserva Forestale Tirone - Alto Vesuvio
To celebrate the European Day of Parks, Vesuvius National Park, in collaboration with Vesuvio Natura da Esplorare, is hosting a special event dedicated to discovering and celebrating the Park’s protected natural heritage.
This is a unique opportunity to spend an afternoon surrounded by nature and experience the magic of Vesuvius National Park at sunset. Led by Vesuvio Natura da Esplorare, the official park guides, participants will walk along the trail of the beautiful Tirone – Alto Vesuvio State Nature Reserve, a remarkable area that preserves one of the richest and most fascinating environments in the entire volcanic complex, both in terms of biodiversity and geological history.
The initiative aims to bring people closer to their protected landscape. Getting to know such a precious and fragile ecosystem is the first and most important step towards protecting it.
By exploring the rhythms of nature, the geological history of the volcano, and the importance of conserving local plants and wildlife, participants will have the chance to develop a deeper environmental awareness. Experiencing this protected area together means encouraging every citizen to become an active and responsible guardian of the beauty and biodiversity that surround us.
The walk will also offer a moment to reflect on the essential role of national parks, while moving through the quiet of the woodland as the afternoon light slowly turns into the colours of sunset.
Places are limited to ensure respect for the area and the safety of all participants. Participation is free, but advance booking is required through the provided link.
