Hiking on a jurassic ocean
Let’s celebrate European Parks Day with a challenging loop hike to the block streams at the foot of Monte Cavalli. Then we’ll reach Monte Priafaia before returning along the evocative megalithic path, in the shade of majestic beech trees.
It will be a journey back in time through the geological history of the Beigua area: we will walk on rocks that formed on the floor of an ocean about 200 million years ago, later lifted to the surface and shaped by glacial action during the last Ice Age.
