As part of the 2026 European Day of Parks, promoted by EUROPARC Federation, “The Park of Waters” is a full‑day celebration hosted at La Brilla – Porta del Parco in Massarosa. The event highlights the natural and cultural heritage of Lake Massaciuccoli and its waterways, promoting soft mobility, environmental stewardship, and community participation.
The programme includes guided dawn canoe outings and boat excursions, offering immersive experiences on the lake. In the afternoon, an open public forum brings together institutions, experts, and local stakeholders to discuss water management, ecological protection, and shared territorial projects. The day also features the presentation of the new Europa Direct information desk and youth initiatives promoted by the Municipality of Massarosa, concluding with a convivial buffet.
