The Lusitanica BioBlitz 2026 is an activity that features experts who will guide us through the Lusitanica micro-reserves on a real expedition to discover the local biodiversity — from birds, land mammals, insects and plants to bats and amphibians.

The Lusitanica BioBlitz 2026 is organised by the BioLiving Association, as part of the Lusitanica project, which forms part of the CIRA Natura programme, supported by the Intermunicipal Community of the Aveiro Region through PAPERA 2026, and is organised in collaboration with the University of Aveiro Alumni Association, the Department of Biology at the University of Aveiro and the Biology Students’ Group.
