Descubriendo los anfibios / Discovering Amphibians
Para celebrar el Día Europeo de los Parques Naturales, el Parque Natural de Chera-Sot de Chera te invita a participar el domingo 24 de mayo en una jornada para conocer a los anfibios que habitan nuestro entorno. Realizaremos una ruta a pie hasta la balsa de la Fuente Fetge, construida en 2024 por el Ayuntamiento de Sot de Chera para ayudar a la introducción de gallipatos en el entorno del parque. Una vez allí realizaremos un muestreo de los anfibios que habitan en la balsa, observándolos de cerca, y aprendiendo curiosidades acerca de ellos. Por último, haremos una suelta de gallipatos, proporcionados por el Centro Acuícola de El Palmar, con el objetivo de incrementar sus poblaciones silvestres. No te lo pierdas.

To celebrate European Day of Natural Parks, the Chera-Sot de Chera Natural Park invites you to participate in a day dedicated to learning about the amphibians that inhabit our environment on Sunday, May 24th. We will take a walking route to the Fuente Fetge pond, built in 2024 by the Sot de Chera Town Council to help introduce Iberian ribbed newts to the park area. Once there, we will sample the amphibians that live in the pond, observing them closely and learning interesting facts about them. Finally, we will release Iberian ribbed newts, provided by the El Palmar Aquaculture Center, with the aim of increasing their wild populations.
