EUROPARC Federation and Fjordcoast regional- and geopark will welcome Junior Rangers for the Annual International Camp, from the in July 2026. The Junior Rangers will be experiencing frontline community led nature conservation, the protection of UNESCO’s regional parks and what it means to be a geopark.
22nd International Junior Ranger Camp: Stories Shaped by Sea and Stone
- When: 17th – 24th July 2026
- Where: Fjordcoast regional- and geopark, Norway
- Who: Junior Rangers 14 – 17 years old at the time of the camp
- How many: 10 International Teams of 1 Mentor & 2 Junior Rangers
- Costs: all local costs are covered by the host and teams just have to cover their travel to the pickup location Rysjedalsvika kai
There will be a selection processes with priority given to programmes who had not attended an International Junior Ranger camp before and those who had not attended the last or second to last camp. Those who are not selected this year, will be given priority in the following year’s selection.
We welcome all EUROPARC Junior Ranger programmes to send a team and any EUROPARC Member interested in the programme is welcome to apply as well with a young representatives of the correct age. As we have done the last 2 years, there will also be 1 spot open for a non-EUROPARC member interested in the Junior Ranger programme.
Applications open for the whole of March and close on the 1st April 2026 23:59 central european time. The names of of the Mentor and two Junior Rangers need to be known at the time of application.
