The EUROPARC Conference happens face to face every two years and is the event for those working in Europe’s Protected Areas and Natura 2000 sites. Save the date for the 2025 Conference in Lithuania!
Save the date! 7 – 10 October 2025
The EUROPARC Directorate and the Lithuanian State Service for Protected Areas under the Ministry of Environment are incredibly excited to invite the EUROPARC network to Lithuania! The Conference will be held from October 7-10 in one of Lithuania’s unique protected territories: Nemunas Loops Regional Park, Birštonas.
We invite you to save the date! The conference will run from October 7–10, with Monday, October 6, and Saturday, October 11, designated as travel days. As always, you can look forward to many opportunities to connect with your Protected Area colleagues, exchange ideas, and learn about initiatives happening across Europe.
Nature for People, People for Nature
The theme of the EUROPARC Conference in 2025 will be dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Ramsar Convention and special attention will be given to nature restoration work in Europe, in the framework of the EU Nature Restoration Act. The Conference theme, Nature for People, People for Nature, was chosen to emphasize the connection between nature and people.
