Celebrating the European National Parks Day with this year’s motto “We are nature – reflect, restore, give back”, the Nature Conservation Agency and the UNESCO Chair “Biosphere and Man” of the Institute for Social, Economic and Humanitarian Research of Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences invite to participate in the activity challenge in the North Vidzeme Biosphere Reserve (NVR) by going outdoors and accumulating active kilometers from 24th to 31st of May.
Anyone interested in getting active in nature in the NBR is welcome to take part in the activity challenge. To participate you need:
📱 Download the Strava mobile app on your smartphone;
📝 register in the “ZBR Challenge” group ( https://ej.uz/ZBRizaicinajums );
🚴🏻record your walk, bike ride, hike, run, boat trip, etc. in the app. For more information.
➡️ Visiting at least one of the three special attractions: the Ķurmrags Lighthouse, the Oleri Marsh Trail or the Lustindruva Nature Trail will earn participants an extra 5 points. Six lucky winners who have spent the most time and accumulated the most active kilometers during the eight days of sport activities in nature will receive surprise prizes from the challenge organizers.
