“Métropole Nature “ is an INTERREG IIIB project focused on peri-urban natural spaces in a context of sustainable urban spatial development.
These peri-urban natural spaces (open, natural, unconstructed, of environmental or agricultural interest, forestry …) are often located in areas that are no longer urban or rural in the traditional sense. Together, they participate in the functioning of the “city”, and are part of it in its own right. They are both fragile and threatened and their integration into urban functioning is often denied or neglected.
The “Métropole Nature” project is interested in these undeveloped spaces in metropolitan areas.
