Conference "A step forward in protecting biodiversity in the Protected Landscape of Konjuh"; Event: "Biodiversity and inclusion. Participation and collective and social development"
Within the project: Biodiversity for local development. Innovative model of participatory governance of the Protected Landscape Konjuh in Bosnia Herzegovina / BioSvi, the Italian NGO CISP in strict collaboration with the Public Entity Protected Landscape of Konjuh is organising a day full of open events to join The European Day of Parks celebration.
The Protected Landscape of Konjuh aims at protecting and valorizing its Biodiversity and strives to involve CSOs, Schools, Universities, Public and private actors and the community at large in doing it. Several activities will be organized in the Park among which:
– Guided natural tours to the Park
– Conference “A step forward in protecting biodiversity in the Protected Landscape of Konjuh”; during which the study on the Protected Lanscape of Konjuh’s Biodiversity will be presented
– Environmental Education Workshops and laboratory addressed to pupils of primary secondary and high schools of the Tuzla Canton of BiH organized in collaboration with the schools of the territory on plant and animal biodiversity of the Protected Landscape Konjuh
– Sports and musical events organized by local CSOs and musical associations
– Workshop of active and responsible citizenship dedicated to natural resources protection and biodiversity potentials for a sustainable socio economic development of the area
– There will be spaces where small producers can promote their local products
