Eröffnungstour Fietsknotenpunktsystem / Openingstocht Fietsknooppuntensysteem
The Nature Park is located in 2 countries: Germany and the Netherlands. This two countries had two different ways of guiding cyclists, that’s why not so many cyclists crossed the country border. Wihin the frame of INTERREG VA-project “Grenzenlos Moor – Grenzeloos veen”, one system is implicated on both sides of the border: this Fietsknooppuntensysteem in Dutch and Fietsknotenpunktsystem in German, can now be used in the whole Nature Park. This will increase the number of cyclists crossing the border, which makes this system very important stepping stone to more intercultural interverence and increase the importance of Europe.
To celebrate the new system, we organise a cycletour on 26th of May, we cycle and make a pause with a coffee and pie. Up to 100 cyclists can participate.
