Naplemente túra a vadasparkban csillagászattal/Sunset hike in the Hortobágy Wild Animal Park with astronomy
Hortobagy National Park is not only a symbol of unspoilt nature by day, but is equally outstanding at night. While only a couple of dozen stars can be seen from the centre of a big city, and a few hundred from the centre of an average settlement, there are around two thousand points of light on the Hortobágy horizon. Before sunset, you are welcome to take a guided walk for about 1 hour to see the inhabitants of the Wildlife Park and see the night predators. Astronomy programme: after a short presentation in the Hortobágy Dark Sky Park, far from inhabited areas and free from disturbing light, we will learn about the late spring starry sky, the constellations and the associated pastoral traditions. With binoculars, we will look at the currently visible planets of the Solar System (craters and mountains of the first-quarter Moon, the crescent of Venus, the snowcap of Mars) and distant objects of outer space (clusters of arrows, galaxies, etc.). The programme is weather-dependent, can only be held in clear weather and requires prior booking at Tourinform Hortobágy.
