Excursion to Křivoklátsko PLA, 6-8 May 2016

Come and see home region of famous writer Ota Pavel jointly with us. His inspiration came from canyon-like valley of Berounka river and from deep Křivoklát forests. High biodiversity of the area is supported also by frequent temperature inversions. We will observe spring landscape in bloom e.g. in NR Jezírka, NM Skryjsko-týřovické kambrium or NNR Týřov. European Day of Parks at Šumava, 24 May from 3p.m – 5 p.m

An interesting afternoon program full of games and tasks for the visitors at the center of environmental education in Kašperské Hory.

Podyji National Park

The European Day of Parks walk, 21st May, from 9.30 am to 3 p.m

Around 10km walk through interesting places in Podyji National Park with focus on practical management of the area, entomology, and alternative wineries.  We start at Podmoli and finish in Popice where there will be a wine tasting session with Mr. Antonin Konicek.

Blaník Protected Landscape

Walking in nature Blanik, 22 May

Tourist walks in the countryside with a guide. Visitors will see forests, abandoned quarry and a natural creek valley Brodec. Walking will conclude with a visit to the information center.

Celebration of Steppes, 14 May 

This event will take place at Raná hill (Steppe site). There will be field excursions led by experts, catches and demonstrations of local bird species, possibility of European Ground squirrel observation, exhibition of bats, processing of sheep wool and the opportunity to work with it, possibility to learn about reptiles and amphibians, cognition of plants and mineral water tasting from northern Bohemia.
