Arronches Nature, 24-25 May
On the first day you will have the chance to try fresh and healthy smoothies in Hotel Rural Santo António’ gardens, and on the second day you can join a field trip to a traditional “Salsicharia – BELOTEIROS”, and get to know how the regional “enchidos” from Arronches are made. After the visit there will be a tasting session in Hotel Rural Santo António’ gardens.
Sudoeste Alentejano (SW) and Costa Vicentina Nature Park
Aromatics in Park, 24 May from 2.30 to 4 pm
Sagres/Vila do Bispo – Guided tour to discover the aromatic herbs guided by Walkin’Sagres. Meeting point at Restaurant Sao Vicent (in front of Forte do Beliche, N268).
Honey from Sudoeste Alentejano and Costa Vicentina Nature Park, 27 and 28 May from 3 to 4 pm
Odemira – Discover the honey of the Nature Park with a guided tour to Apicortes to know the process of collecting, storing, packaging, etc. of honey produced by the bees of Nature Park. The activity will include a sweet tasting session. Meeting point: Rua António Mateus Alves, n.º 39, Bicos, Odemira (no Cercal, seguir direcção Ourique/ Alvalade – N262).
Villa Maria – BIO Living
BioBlitz – Tastes of Villa, 28 May from 9 am to 11 pm
BioBlitz – Sabores da Villa (BioBlitz – Tastes of the Villa) will be a day full of BIO experiences. Milene Matos from BIO SOMOS TODOS and Villa Maria organised a very special programme… From dusk to dawn, discover biodiversity in the company of biologists and fill in your Villa Passport! The deserved breaks will be enriched with delicious local flavours and natural ingredients. Sónia Nabais, CEO of Living Place, craftswoman and promoter of local culture and products will present the participants with spring Salad with flowers of periwinkle, rucola, lettuce, blackberries, pears, mint and cheese and much more.
