The Charter Network Meeting, our annual high-level event was scheduled to happen – albeit with restrictions – in Sabugal from the 14th till 16th of September. However, due to developments of the coronavirus, the meeting has been canceled.
Nonetheless, stay tuned! We will be sure to offer you further opportunities for exciting exchanges, either online or face to face, when the situation becomes more secure.
The Future Starts Today
Twenty years ago, a group of Protected Areas and tourism professionals came together to create a new way of working, that would seek to build sustainable destinations, that were Good for Nature and Good for People. That was the beginning of the Charter for Sustainable Tourism in Protected Areas, now with 107 destinations in 15 countries.
We were hoping we could celebrate this joyous occasion in Sabugal. However, even with the celebration in Sabugal not happening, we will find a way to compensate for that! Besides, who says that we cannot celebrate our 20 Years Anniversary a year later? 🙂
