EUROPARC General Assembly 2019, Jurmala, Latvia - by Rolfs Vendis
As per usual, the EUROPARC Conference was opened with EUROPARC General Assembly, our members’ annual gathering where we share the latest updates of the Federation. After the President, the Treasurer, the Youth representative, and the Internal Auditor presented their reports, members got an update on the work of the Directorate, the Sections and EUROPARC Commissions.
The highest moment though, was a live call from Russia, where our member “Zapovedniks” was running, simultaneously, a Youth Festival to raise environmental awareness with youngsters and Rangers from all over Russia.
