What are the motivation factors of individuals working/collaborating in biodiversity initiatives?

“Combining internal and external motivations in multi-actor governance arrangements for biodiversity and ecosystem services analyses the possibility of building a mutually supportive dynamics between internally and externally motivated behaviour for biodiversity conservation and ecosystem services provision”.

By analysing 34 successful cases in 7 european countries, the authors defined a set of pshycho-social features that could help designing multi-actor governance arrangements.
