Ready for TransParcNet 2015? Save your spot now.

Experts in cross-border cooperation in Protected Areas get together each year at the EUROPARC TransParcNet meeting. They share good practices in transboundary cooperation, discover cross-border partnerships in other parks and look into common project ideas.

The full programme is now available and registration open for EUROPARC’s 7th TransParcNet meeting. It will take place from 9th to 12th June across the Czech-German border in Šumava and Bavarian Forest National Parks.

This year’s meeting will look at “The value of healthy ecosystems for nature and people” from a transboundary perspective. We will study practical examples of raised bog restoration as well as the natural dynamic of ecosystems and their effects on biodiversity. We will enjoy views on the area from mountain tops and tree top walks, learning about the value of visitor management in order for everybody to benefit from the natural landscape.

The TransParcNet meeting 2015 will be held in English.

Download your invitation and copy of the programme and register before 30th April. Places are limited, we recommend to register as soon as possible for this event. More information on how to do this can be found in the invitation.

We look forward to welcoming experts in transboundary cooperation in Protected Areas from across Europe and beyond.
