Chemins des Parcs – Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur
Cooperation at the highest level from the French Regional Nature Parks
The 7 Regional Nature Parks (PNR) from Provence, Alpes and Côte d’Azur have just launched a common website to promote the “Chemins des Parcs” or “Parks’ Trails”. The website contains all information to discover the region by foot, bike, mountain bike or horseback riding.
A very user-friendly and intuitive website where one can find all technical information about each trail and can download KML and GPX files of each desirable route. And the cherry on the top: the information is also available in English and Italian!
The website contains information about Alpilles PNR, Camargue PNR, Baronnies provençales PNR, Luberon PNR, Préalpes d’Azur PNR, Queyras PNR, Verdon PNR, and the Project Parks Mont-Ventoux and La Sainte-Baume.
Indeed, “Une autre vie s’invente ici” (another life is invented here)! With this great example lead by the Region of Provence, Alpes and Côte d’Azur, Parks will benefit from a wider promotion and visibility of their touristic offer and enable tourist to easily discover the beautiful nature and culture landscapes of the region.
It is also interesting to note that out of 7 regional parks, 6 have been awarded with the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism in Protected Areas, which emphasizes their commitment developing tourism sustainably!
Take a look on the interesting video made to promote the website and get the chance to discover the other French Regional Parks here.
